You should see the sequel, Scream, Blacula, Scream!, or William Crane's other blaxploitation horror masterpiece, Dr. Black and Mr. Hyde, the trailer for which includes the line: "If you're seein' what ain't... it must be a haint!"
I think it may be time for a blaxsplotation movie night considering the wealth of material you've pointed me towards. And considering I OWN Dolomite, the odds are good that this event will be scheduled! ;)
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy are teh funny (and yes, I still watch cartoons on a regular basis, thus increasing my geek cred exponentially). It doesn't surprise me that they used Blacula, those boys know where to find comedy gold. Dexter's Lab is another cartoon that does that, frakking hilarious.
Favorite characters on Dexter? Val Hallen, Major Glory and the Infraggable Krunk. Oh yeah. *grins*

I loved the fact that the Dracula in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy was in actuality Blacula.
It was so damn funny
"Aaaargh! Blacula's family a bunch a' nerds! Come back here, ya jive-turkey, helsing! Put Blacula outta his misery!"
